Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rohil Khosa of Kashmore-Kandhkot confirmed the occurrence and disclosed that five children, two women, and two men, all of whom were members of the same family, were among the victims. Five more people were hurt in the explosion in addition to the dead and were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to the report.
According to Khoso, who was quoted by PTI, “This is a riverine belt area and the rocket shell must have been left there by dacoits who hide out deep into the riverine belt areas.”
